I went out on a limb and purchased this case along with the Smartphone Experts Top Case hoping that they would fit with each other, and to my joy they fit extremely well.
This Gelli Case provides your Nexus One with an extremely tough skin that will protect your Nexus One from nicks, scratches, and dings, yet it still retains access to the vital features of your phone such as the headphone jack, volume buttons, power button, & mini USB connector.
The case completely covers over the Power Button and Volume Buttons in order to prevent any dirt or grime from hindering the operation of the buttons. I have not experienced any difficulty in the use of these buttons as they are distinctly raised from the case and are very easy to press.
The case sports such a low profile, that I have not had any difficulty with the Touch Sensitive Back/Settings/Home/Search buttons as I have had with a previous silicone case.
The grip that this case offers is smooth so that it doesnt attract dirt or hair, yet rubbery enough so that you arent going to risk drop it.
As I mentioned at the beginning, I also purchased a Smartphone Experts Top Case. The fit of the Nexus One with the Gelli Case is a little tight and requires two hands to remove from the Top Case in order to prevent the Top Case from coming off of the belt, but the fit is not overly tight.
The only dilemma that I encountered was that you must ensure that the included screen protector is precisely centered on the screen in order that the Gelli Case wont rub against the screen protector. If it rubs, then your screen protector will bubble on the side. Overall though I will give this case a solid 5 stars.
